#App flick tech update#
Either MHW update or Nvidia driver update messed something up. Because this used to work no problem before in MHW. I hope the devs see this that there might be an issue perhaps in the ''Z-Prepass'' option. That setting used to be on ''high'' but I like frames over graphics quality. Now my graphics quality did take a hit because textures aren't anymore sharp as they used to but it's at least now playable. So then I had to go to ''image quality'' setting and choose ''Variable (Prioritize framerate)'' to get my frames back.
However it actually dropped my +60 frames to 40-50 which was not fun. Under the ''Advanced graphic settings'' there is a setting called ''Z-Prepass'' I turned it OFF and my screen flicker didn't happen anymore. Try changing this setting to "High" or "Prioritize Resolution" to resolve the issue.''Īny of this above in the official report thread did not help HOWEVER something else did work and here's how I got rid of my screen flicker: This setting may cause frequent resolution changes based on the user's PC specs. In some configurations, a flickering issue may occur when a user selects the framerate priority setting within the Graphics Options. None of my other games does this it's only MHW. Last time I played MHW was when the Deviljho or whatever angry green pickle monster came out and I never had this issue.
